A diverse group of people, from a builder to a lecturer in theoretical physics, brought to the studio an object of particular importance to them personally, something they cared about, something they would rescue from a burning house. The full set of 28 portraits was exhitibed in the Long Gallery in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
